Gryphon

The Gryphon is a raid sword, it can be found at First Sea in the Shanks Raid on Teleporter Island. It can be further enhanced and upgraded at the 3rd Sea to Emperor Gryphon.

Normal Gryphon can be traded, however the upgraded version isn't tradeable

This sword drops from Shanks in his raid at a 5% chance. All moves are AOE.

Gryphon Moves

Q	Red Burst	450	A burst of energy instantly erupts from the sword in volcano-like spouts that shoot forward from the ground 4-5 times.
E	Red Cross	300	A projectile in the form of an x-slash shoots from the sword at high speeds, damaging and exploding into a single red volcanic energy spout similar to Red Burst.
R	Red Emperor	350	Erupts energy from the sword in all directions in a large area around the user to hit foes in its range.

Emperor Gryphon

Emperor Gryphon, as the name suggests, is the upgraded version of the regular Gryphon. It is obtained fairly simply however unlocking it's moves can be a chore as to unlock the moves you must defeat the World Boss Shanks in the third sea. You will unlock one move per kill, however the last skill requires the title Red Hair.

Requirements: You must have Gryphon, 25k Gems and 1 poneglyph. After you get all of the materials, go to Shanks Island and interact with the Emperor's Trainer NPC.

Once obtained you are only given the first two moves, as stated before you must defeat the World Boss Shanks to unlock one move at a time.

Emperor Gryphon Moves

R	New Era	300	You target an enemy and begin a small slashing animation followed up by an AOE blast
F	King's Eye	300	Unleash a quick AOE and nice damage of red energy
U	Divine Deperture	300	Simliar to King's Eye but has a stun on top of high damage
Y	Flame Sword	300	RED HAIR TITLE IS REQUIRED TO USE THIS Buffs all your skills by 20%. M1 doesn't get buffed

Pros and cons for both versions

Gryphon:

Pros:

• Good damage
• Good AOE
• Moves are on a low cool down
• A bit stronger than first sea Three Sword Style
• Second best raid sword, only behind Yoru
• Can be traded for, still valuable

Difficult to obtain as Shanks' Raid is huge and time consuming

• 5% drop chance in Shanks Raid
• Yoru is better overall
• Difficult for new players to trade for given how expensive this item can be
• it aint that hard to get now update this thing and check discord

Emperor Gryphon:

Pros:

• Easy to get once Gryphon is obtained
• Higher damage
• Higher AOE
• More moves at disposal
• Good alternative if you can't fully unlock Dual Yoru.

Cons:

• Outclassed by Dual Yoru or Jigoku Santoryu if fully unlocked
• Moves are slower to cast compared to other swords
• Requires a tedious grind of waiting for a World Boss to spawn
• The buff is restricted needing a title. (Red Hair)
• Not worth the effort if Dual Yoru or Jigoku Santoryu is fully unlocked before getting Emperor Gryphon
